Rooty Hill High School is a comprehensive, community school committed to student success through excellence in learning, leadership and participation. The school has a well-deserved reputation in the creative and performing arts, leadership programs and sport. There is a strong ethos built around a set of learning principles and core values. School uniform is strictly enforced at the request of parents. Students are expected to work towards their own success and the school reports on both the academic and non-cognitive performance of students. All students leaving the school over 15 years of age have an exit plan and student portfolios are prepared to assist students to make applications for work and further education.
